Health care regulations and standards are essential to ensure compliance and to provide safe health care practices to every individual who accesses the system. Health authorities, at multiple levels of governance (federal, state and local) regulates practitioners and facilities, provide information about industry changes, promote safety and ensure legal compliance and quality services. The Emirate of Dubai has a distinguished healthcare infrastructure, governed by the Health Regulation Department under Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
Sequential to the success of the first conference in 2014, Dubai Health Authority will host the second version of the Dubai Health Regulation Conference in 2016. The two-day event aims to bring together professionals and experts from around the globe for knowledge sharing of best practices and evidence based outcomes of effective healthcare regulations and standards. The event will be a common platform shared between international and regional healthcare regulatory authorities, healthcare professionals, Patients, Researchers, Policy Makers, Educators and other entities with an active interest in Health Regulations. Simultaneously, the Medical Tourism track will involve insights from subject matter experts from successful medical tourism destinations along with a unique B2B networking session, facilitated by “The World Health Tourism Congress”.
