The 2019 Global Healthcare Travel Forum (GHTF) in Baku was indeed a memorable event. It brought together healthcare professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world to discuss the latest trends and innovations in healthcare travel. The forum featured insightful presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants.

Around 150 participants at the forum included representatives from the Turkish Healthcare Travel Council, Croatian Medical Travel Association, Ukrainian Association of Medical Tourism and the German Medical Wellness Association. General Managers of recreational therapy facilities, experts and scientists representing the healthcare sector from 20 different countries including Russia, Georgia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Kyrgyzstan, China and India were also present at the 3rd Global Healthcare Travel Forum, April 23, Baku, Azerbaijan
