President of the Global Health Tourism Council, Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan and the council officials celebrated Ramadan Feast by visiting the elderly, patients, children and health tourists in the country.
In his speech during the visits, Ahmet Savaşan said that the month of Ramadan, which includes many beauties such as love, tolerance and cooperation, was spent in the shadow of the 6 February earthquake.
Our Target Is To Carry Joy With Love
Stating that Ramadan Feast is one of the religious holidays that bring people together and make us feel unity, togetherness and closeness at the highest level, Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, representing the Global Health Tourism Council, stated that their visits during the holiday aimed to bring joy with affection, especially to the people who experienced great difficulties in the earthquake and their relatives, as well as to health tourists, children and patients in the TRNC.
Together We Must Open Our Hearts To Each Other
Stating that this holiday, unlike the others, coincided with a period that required to open our hearts to each other much more together with our hands, Ahmet Savaşan said, “As we leave behind the month of Ramadan, which contains many beauties such as love, tolerance and cooperation, we are saddened in the shadow of the horrific earthquake disaster that took place on February 6th. We are excited to have another feast. Feasts are the days when we feel our national and spiritual values with all their beauty, put aside the hurt, get together with family members and loved ones, develop love and respect, and strengthen the feelings of friendship and brotherhood. We should take advantage of these meaningful days, live in accordance with the spirit of the feast, and teach our customs and traditions to the next generations.”

Expressing their happiness to be together with the elderly and children, patients receiving treatment, and health tourists who prefer the TRNC to find healing during the Ramadan Feast, at the end of his speech, Dr. Ahmet Savaşan wished that Ramadan Feast would bring health, peace and affection to the Islamic World in particular and to humanity in general.

At the end of the statement, it was stated that health tourists expressed their satisfaction with the hospitality they received in Northern Cyprus and the quality of health services they received.
