The Pan-African Health Tourism Congress, 08 – 09 June 2017
has come and gone as a resounding success. It was staged to address the investment, development and promotion interests of the Health Tourism Stakeholders in Africa.
The aim of this annual Pan African Health Tourism Congress, staged in South Africa, was to serve as a Catalyst and Enabler for the creation of Successful, Sustainable and Resilient African Health Tourism Destinations – through a process involving Stakeholder: Segmentation, Integration, Administration, Development and Promotion.
Very importantly, the Congress is an ht8 Event which addresses all 8 of the Health Tourism Segments; Medical Tourism, Dental Tourism, Spa Tourism, Wellness Tourism, Sports Tourism, Culinary Tourism, Accessible Tourism and Assisted Residential Tourism.
The ht8 (the approach to Health Tourism Configuration Endorsed by the Global Health Tourism Council) expands the Industry so that it can address a Broader Market – meaning more business for all. Furthermore, the Congress addresses the Interests and Needs of the providers of Sector-supporting Services and Products – representing several industries
