An Artificial Neural Network Model for Predicting In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Outcome

In this seminar, we present a groundbreaking research endeavor that combines two novel approaches to advance the field of in vitro fertilization (IVF). Our comprehensive analysis delves into understanding the complex dynamics of IVF and utilizing predictive modeling for improved outcomes. Firstly, we explore the dynamics of IVF using partial differential equations (PDEs). By formulating the system as a set of PDEs, we capture the spatiotemporal behavior of variables, such as oocyte growth, sperm-egg interaction, and embryo development. Rigorous mathematical analysis ensures the reliability of the PDE system, validating the existence, uniqueness, and stability of solutions. We also develop efficient numerical methods based on finite difference or finite element discretization, which accurately predict IVF outcomes under various scenarios. Sensitivity analysis identifies key factors influencing embryo implantation success, empowering couples on their journey to parenthood. Secondly, we introduce an advanced artificial neural network model for predicting IVF outcomes. The Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) architecture integrates comprehensive input variables, including follicle counts, MI/MII numbers, and sperm quality parameters. Extensive training with selective datasets ensures the model’s accuracy in forecasting IVF outcomes. By incorporating patient data patterns, our predictive model facilitates informed decision-making for patients and healthcare professionals, leading to personalized and optimized IVF treatment programs. The integration of these two research approaches represents a significant leap forward in the field of reproductive medicine. By combining the in-depth understanding of IVF dynamics through PDE modeling and the power of neural networks in predicting outcomes, we aim to enhance IVF success rates and improve the quality of care for couples facing fertility challenges. This seminar sheds light on the potential of data-driven methodologies and cutting-edge technologies in reshaping the landscape of IVF, bringing hope and joy to millions worldwide
