Diagnostic and current therapy options on allergies
Allergy diagnostics and treatments have advanced significantly in the recent years, offering more precise and effective options. Molecular-based allergy diagnostics, including microarray technology, provocation test, allow for the precise identification of allergens, improving the accuracy and efficiency of diagnoses . Common diagnostic methods include skin tests, blood tests, and physician-supervised challenge tests, which help determine specific allergens. Besides the obvious -such as avoiding allergens- treatment plans using biological medications and targeting immunotherapy, are used to gradually build total tolerance to air borne as well as some food allergies effectively.
