President of the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC), Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan on December 3rd World Disability Day pointed out that disability should be seen as a matter of democracy and human rights, not a “patient problem”. Dr. Ahmet Savaşan pointed out that it is necessary to find innovative solutions to build an accessible and egalitarian world for everyone.
President of the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC), Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, in his message published on December 3rd World Disability Day, pointed out that the theme of the 2023 World Disabled Day is “to save and achieve the sustainable development goals by acting together with the disabled people” and stated that achieving the sustainable development goals is especially important for the 1.3 billion disabled individuals around the world. He emphasized that it is imperative not to leave anyone behind.

Pointing out that disabled individuals around the world face systematic discrimination and obstacles that restrict their inclusion in all areas of society, Dr. Ahmet Savaşan pointed out that truly sustainable development for disabled individuals is possible by ensuring that they are not only beneficiaries but also actively participate in social, economic and political life…
