Dr. Natalia Ciobanu

Biography

I was born in Calarasi, Republic of Moldova, on 10 March, 1981. My education started at the Primary School in Frumoasa village, then at the Theoretical High School in Calarasi, which I graduated from in 1996. This was followed by studies at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemițanu” from Moldova, where I obtained my medical degree.

Wishing to further develop my knowledge in the field of public administration, I continued my studies at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Moldova, earning a master’s degree in Municipal and State Administration in 2005.

My professional experience began as a resident doctor and professor at the medical college in Moldova. My knowledge in administration, management, and medicine helped me become Country Manager at The Jordanian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company, and Amman Pharmaceutical, later becoming Director at On Clinic Moldova.

Alongside my professional activity, I have been actively involved in consultancy and political activities, holding important positions such as Vice President of the Youth Advisors Club and President of the Culture Department for Students and Residents at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemițanu” from Moldova.

I have also been involved in political organizations, contributing to the development and promotion of important policies and programs for our society. In the scientific field, I have actively participated in university conferences and have authored research papers in the field of public health and the modernization of public administration.

I have been honoured with awards and recognitions for my contribution to the development of the fields in which I have been active, and my communication skills, responsibility, ambition, and ability to work in a team define me as a person.

As president of the Medical Tourism Association of Moldova, in the last two years I have actively participated in the development of the sector and the international recognition of the Republic of Moldova.

With solid knowledge, extensive experience, and determination, I am ready to continue contributing to the development and improvement of the health sector and public administration in the Republic of Moldova and worldwide.
